These beautiful "living objects" are the work of Japanese designer Masanori Oji. He draws on the materials and skills of traditional Japanese craft to create items such as bottle openers, tableware, lamps and wall hooks that are as functional as they are beautiful. I am particularly in love with the amazing wooden mugs and the beautiful brass bottle openers (that's them in the top photo, believe it or not!). I'm hoping to have at least a few items by this impressive designer in Mr Sparrow some time soon...
