Unwrapped unravelled

My Sundays are always jam-packed with things both fun (shopping, visiting, eating, drinking, gardening) and not-so-fun (cleaning the house), and this Sunday was no exception! First on the agenda yesterday was Sunday Best by Unwrapped, a marketplace showcasing some of Perth's up-and-coming designers. As I mentioned on Friday, I was lucky enough to get a VIP invitation, which meant I got to have a look before the markets officially opened, plus I was given a fantastic shopping bag filled with goodies! (see the second pic) The three friends I brought along all got bags, too (without the goodies), so we did very nicely. There were some lovely things on offer, including vintage paper wares and ceramics by C is for Christobel, which had a very Mr Sparrow vibe, interesting jewellery by Helena Bogucki, and beautiful paper and blackboard cards (a great idea!) by Made of Awesome. I loved their paper so much I had to buy a sheet of the Vintage Buttons design, and I also bought the cutest little ceramic dish from one of the regular market stalls (both top pic). After getting our fill at the markets, we popped our heads into the Popsicle bus, which was parked just outside PICA. It can be found at a variety of locations until Thursday so you can still check it out if you haven't yet. There was so much happening in the city yesterday, mostly because of the Perth Fashion Festival, that it actually prompted James to say, "Perth's alright!" Which is what I'm always saying :)

So, that was Part One of my Sunday adventures...stay tuned for more tomorrow!
