These are some of the beautiful things I saw in various shops around Berlin. These are not the things I actually bought - I'll save those for another day! The top photo is from a shop called Pomeranza, which I never actually got to go into because the only time we went past it was closed. It looked amazing though (and is owned by a friend of a friend of mine) and I have a feeling it would probably be one of my favourite shops! If you've been into Mr Sparrow, you may recognise the little wooden boards with the figurines in the third photo...the wooden tree plates are from the same company and having now seen them in the flesh I might just have to get them in! I absolutely love the "moving cards" in the second-bottom photo! They are postcards made from packing boxes and designed for you to fill out with your new address and send to your friends when you move house - such a great idea! I may look into getting them into the shop but I have a feeling they were somewhat outrageously priced. Speaking of outrageously priced, the felt briefcase in the bottom photo was from KaDeWe (the massive department store I mentioned another time that is Germany's answer to Harrod's). I don't know how much it was but I'm sure it cost a packet. Isn't it just beautiful, though? Ah, to own such a thing!
